What documents do you need to collect?
There is no simple answer to this question as it all depends on the accounting policy of the applicant organization and, of course, national law. Remember – we always want to stay legal. So it’s best to talk to your organization’s accountant about the adopted accounting policy.
Since you receive the grant in the form of a lump sum, the basis for the settlement with the National Agency is the implementation of the activities described in the application. An important document is also the attendance list, signed by all project participants during each of the activities – it is very important! However, to settle special costs, you must attach accounting documents confirming these expenses to the report.
The National Agency also has the right to check the project documentation, which can be done “from behind the desk” or at your organization’s premises, during the project or after its completion. You can read more about the control options in your financial agreement.
